All About Us

Hi, I’m Amelia.
I’m 10 years old and just like most 10 year olds there are lots of things I want.
My mum and dad say that I have everything I need and more but that I’m never to young to learn about money and responsibility. I thought having my own shop would be really cool, especially if it was a sweet shop.
It nearly put me off starting my shop after learning about all the things I needed to do but I am really lucky that my mums friend has a café and she let me use her café after she closed in the evening so that I could bag my sweets up in premises licenced by the council for food preparation. Because I am under 18, I have to be supervised with everything. I am working through the training course for my food hygiene certificate but it will take a while because it is quite difficult.
I have been learning how to plan, price, package and sell my sweets which has been quite a challenge. I have also had to store my stock at the café because it is very tempting having sweets around.
I am going to be at the next Princes Risborough Farmers Market on the 17th April  so I would love you to come and support me there but you can also buy from me through Face Book or come and see some of my sweets at Crumbs Too, 2 High Street, Princes Risborough.
